We've been extremely busy the last couple weeks. I've been meaning to post pictures more frequently, but we were having issues logging on to our website. Everything is taken care of now and we will be sure to keep you up to date with maintenance activities.

# 10 completed with the liner. Time for new sand!

The liner creates barrier from the subsoil to sand. It is porous and allows for water to pass.

None of the bunkers have liners from the original construction. Bunker liners will aid in keeping rocks out of the sand and also help hold sand on the face of the bunker.

David is in the process of rennovating the left greenside bunkers on the South. He has taken out all of the old sand and rocks and is putting a bunker liner in two of bunkers so we can see if we want to use the liner in the future.

The damage to the oak tree on #8 is spreading throughout the tree.

Here is Mateo spraying weeds in #8 waste bunker. Last week we finished spraying all the weeds in the waste bunkers.

#5 green North has always been a weak area because of nematodes. We are making an effort to improve this area by placing fresh sod and soil. We had good success with plugging a few areas in this same location last year.

We brought in two tree experts to examine the tree by #8 green South. It's believed that the left half of the tree is suffering due to lightning damage. We are doing our best to nurse it back to health.

Spraying weeds in the summertime is a never ending job. Julio is in action on #11 North.

#4 ladies tee has been our slowest tee to recover from our cultivation practices.

Here is a view from #3 tee. We had damage on the left side of the tee from one of our machines. This area will have no problem growing in - just takes a little time and patience. Fertilizer helps too

For the last two weeks while the golf course is healing up we've been doing a lot of detail work.

Mole crickets from #9 of the Preserve. These little critters can cause a lot of turf damage. Kind of interesting -they are known to be extra active on nights with a full moon.
